Hebden Bridge Woodlands Walk Photos Are Ready!
I’ve spent half of today shooting pictures for Marie Curie’s Hebden Bridge Woodlands Walk and the results can be found at my gallery at Smugmug. If you were there and want to use any of the pictures of your self for personal use (not business), feel free. Here’s Marie Curie’s donation page if you want to donate anything in return
This is the beautiful view from the first bridge the walkers had to cross.

Some of the first walkers crossing the bridge, morals were high!
The biggest group of the day with the company of some lovely flowers in the centre of Hebden Bridge. It was Mark’s idea to bring them there and the results were great!
More photos can be found at my TOL Photography gallery
Hebden Bridge Woodlands Walk for Marie Curie
Nice day for taking photos. Mark and I are waiting in the pub for the walkers to come back.
Hebden Bridge Woodland Walk Photos
I’ll be covering the Hebden Bridge walk this weekend for Marie Curie, which will be fun. It’s always a good challenge to take photos that encourage people to walk. I’ll be uploading some photos here as soon as I return so watch this space.
Mayor at Leeds Half Marathon
I went on one of my Marie Curie photo missions 7 September to cover the Leeds Half Marathon. The mission was to take photos of interesting stuff and most importantly people running and sponsoring Marie Curie! I brought along my 70-200mm as I’d be shooting from relatively long distance. The day started out rainy but cleared up in time for the finishing shots! What a great day!
I managed to snap the Leeds mayor as he was walking to the podium to start the marathon:
Here’s the winner crossing the finish line, being cheered on by the Mayor:
And behold… The first Marie Curie place goes to… this smiling girl!
I wouldn’t mind a repeat of that day! Lots of smiling people, totally different from the usual “stick to your own little personal space” as is usually the case.
